Find answers to common questions about our services

How long does a gel manicure last?

A gel manicure typically lasts 2-3 weeks with proper care. To maximise longevity, avoid excessive water exposure and use cuticle oil regularly to keep nails healthy and hydrated.

Do I need to book an appointment in advance?

Yes, I only accept appointments. Booking in advance ensures you receive the best service. You can book through Instagram, Facebook, or by contacting me directly via email.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive with clean, polish-free nails. If you have gel polish on, I can remove it during your appointment. Avoid cutting your cuticles at home, as I'll take care of that professionally.

How long does a typical nail appointment take?

Appointment times vary depending on the service. A standard gel manicure takes about 60-90 minutes, while nail art or extensions may require additional time. Please check the pricing section for specific service durations.

What is your cancellation policy?

I understand that things come up. Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me to offer the slot to other clients.

Do you offer nail art services?

Yes! I offer a variety of nail art options, from simple designs to intricate custom artwork. Feel free to bring inspiration photos or we can design something together during your appointment.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash and card. Payment is due at the end of your appointment.

Where is the salon located?

The salon is located at Hidden Oak, Aylesbeare, EX5 2JP. It's the top car park salon.

Can I purchase gift vouchers?

Absolutely! Gift vouchers are available in any amount and make the perfect present. They come beautifully presented in a signature red bow envelope. Contact me to purchase.

How do I care for my nails after treatment?

Keep your nails hydrated with cuticle oil daily, wear gloves when doing household chores, and avoid using your nails as tools. For gel nails, avoid peeling or picking at the polish, and return for proper removal.
